Request for The Rich And The Poor

The prophet Musa a.s had huge numbers of ummah and age-long length. They are rich and poor also. One day there was a poor came to the Prophet Musa. He was so poor with ragged clothes and very shabby. The poor man then said to the prophet Musa. "Ya Nabiullah, please convey to Allah SWT in order make my wish come true to become rich."Musa smiled and said to him,"My brother,you have to thankful more to Allah Almighty." The poor were a little surprised and annoyed, then he said, "How can I want to thank more,I rarely eat anything, and the clothes that I use is only one sheet"! Finally the poor man go to home without getting what he wanted.

Few days later a rich man came to Prophet Musa. The person was neat and also used clean clothes. He said to Moses a.s. "O Nabiullah, please convey to Allah swt to make me become poor,sometimes I was annoyed with my treasure." Musa smiled then he said, "O my brother, do not be thankful to God Almighty." The rich man said"O Nabiullah, how do I not give thanks to Allah Almighty? God s.w.t. has given me eyes,so I can see. He gives me ear, so I can hear. Allah Almighty has given me the hand, so I can work and has given me legs, so I can walk,how could I not be grateful to him?" the rich man answered. Then, the rich man back to his house. After that the rich man became more rich day by day because he always grateful to Allah SWT. And the poor man became more poor, Allah S.W.T. take all the pleasure of him so that the poor did not have a piece of clothing embedded in his body,this is all because he did not want to give thanks to Allah S.W.T with all he had got.
